Kissen, whose family fell victim to devotees of a fiery deity, now thrives on exterminating gods, finding pleasure in her grim task. However, her life takes a twist when she encounters an immortal she can’t slay, Skedi, the deity of minor deceits, intertwined fatefully with a fugitive noble. Their paths cross with a disenchanted knight embarking on a covert mission. Together, they venture to Blenraden’s ruins, a sanctuary for the last untamed gods, each seeking a boon.
